LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

A Colorado boutique law firm, Childs McCune LLC, has an opening in our Denver office for a litigation associate with a minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience.

The ideal candidate will have the skills to take lead on depositions and second-chair trials, have a history of effective stand-up skills, and be a strong legal researcher and persuasive legal writer. The firm’s attorneys are active in the Colorado legal community and value leadership,
professional involvement, community presence, and charity work.

The firm offers a litigation skills training program and one-on-one mentorship with a seasoned litigator. The salary range is $120,000 to $185,000, depending upon qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law. There is an opportunity to become a firm Member.

LITIGATION LEGAL ASSISTANT

Childs McCune, LLC, a mid-size law firm based in Denver, has an immediate opening for a Legal Assistant in our Denver office.  This is not a paralegal position. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years’ experience in CO litigation.  We are looking for someone who has a professional demeanor, excellent organizational/proofreading skills, is detail-oriented, and a multi-tasker.

This position requires the following knowledge skills:

  • Experience with OneDrive, SharePoint and MSTeams;
  • Knowledge of MS Office, which includes heavy calendaring in Outlook;
  • Knowledge and use of ShareFile;
  • Work with subpoenas, notice depositions, process invoices and various pleadings;
  • E-filing experience in state and federal courts.

We offer competitive wages and benefits, which include health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, pre-tax flexible spending accounts, paid time off, contribution to 401(k) and potential profit sharing.
