LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

A Colorado boutique law firm, Childs McCune LLC, has an opening in both our Denver and Colorado Springs offices for a litigation associate with 2-8 years of civil litigation experience.

The ideal candidate will have the skills to take lead on depositions and second-chair trials, have a history of effective stand-up skills, and be a strong legal researcher and persuasive legal writer. The firm’s attorneys are active in the Colorado legal community and value leadership,
professional involvement, community presence, and charity work.

The firm offers a litigation skills training program and one-on-one mentorship with a seasoned litigator. The salary range is $120,000 to $165,000, depending upon qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law. There is an opportunity to become a firm Member.

BUSINESS LAW ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

The ideal candidate will have the skills to prepare health practice governance and employment agreements, counsel on risk management, assist on health billing cases, and generally act as outside counsel to various healthcare entities. Preference will be given to those applicants who are strong in legal research, persuasive legal writing, and accomplished stand-up skills.

LEGAL ASSISTANT

Childs McCune, a downtown litigation law firm, has an immediate opening for a Legal Assistant in our Denver office. This is not a paralegal position.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in CO litigation. At this time, this position is on a hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office, 2 days working remote. We are looking for someone who has a professional demeanor, excellent organizational/proofreading skills, detail-oriented, multi-tasker.

This position requires the following knowledge skills:
– Experience with OneDrive, SharePoint and MSTeams;
– Knowledge of MS Office, which includes heavy calendaring in Outlook;
– Knowledge and use of ShareFile;
– Work with subpoenas, notice depositions, process invoices and various pleadings;
– E-filing experience in state and federal courts.

The salary range is $58,000 to $65,000, depending on a potential employee’s qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law.  Benefits include: health/dental/vision insurance, group life insurance, group short-term/longterm insurance, 401K, paid time off.
