Katherine Gallagher is an attorney whose practice focuses on healthcare law and healthcare regulatory matters.
Prior to joining Childs McCune Michalek, Katherine worked with the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado on healthcare fraud and abuse matters involving the False Claims Act, Controlled Substances Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and opioid-related investigations. Her experience includes conducting legal research and statutory analysis, assisting with witness interviews and depositions, preparing legal memoranda and court filings, and supporting settlement negotiations and case strategy.
Katherine is dedicated to understanding her clients’ needs and providing practical, thoughtful legal guidance. She values collaboration and believes that strong communication and teamwork are essential to achieving successful outcomes for clients navigating complex healthcare and regulatory issues.
Katherine earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health from George Mason University and her Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law, where she participated in the Disability Rights Law Clinic, Administrative Law Review, and Health Law and Policy Brief.
Outside of her legal practice, Katherine enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and exploring Colorado.
