Childs McCune Attorneys and Staff volunteer at Metro Caring food bank in Denver.
Childs McCune is a strong supporter of the Colorado Women’s Bar Association (CWBA). Recently, we were proud to be sponsor of the CWBA’s annual convention in May 2022. Among other things, at the convention, we helped organize and sponsor a panel of esteemed women in the legal community, who shared their successes and challenges about their individual journeys.
The CWBA is the largest diversity bar association in Colorado and is one of the biggest and most influential women’s bar associations in the country. The CWBA even has its own lobbyist to promote the rights of women and children in Colorado.
The CWBA’s mission has remained the same since its inception in 1978: to promote women in the legal profession and the interests of women generally. The vision of the CWBA’s founders has resulted in decades of work promoting gender equality in the legal profession, preserving history, influencing legislation related to women and children, mentoring, granting scholarships for women law students through the CWBA Foundation, fighting discrimination, influencing the selection of judges, and providing training and education.
We are proud of our member Karin Williamson for serving as an Ad Hoc Representative and a planning committee member for the successful 45th Annual Convention in Beaver Creek on May 20-22, 2022. https://www.cwba.org/boardofdirectors

And, Jordan also has a background as a ski patroller and avalanche instructor.
AIARE is a US based nonprofit with a mission to save lives through avalanche education. It produces recreation avalanche curriculum, trains professionals to teach that curriculum, and provides oversight and support to over 100 entities who teach AIARE[egg id=”3″] avalanche courses. AIARE’s Professional Program designs, trains and instructs professionals to promote workplace safety. AIARE leverages its large base of experts to gather the latest knowledge, research, and ideas in avalanche safety to create avalanche training courses that reflect the needs of today’s backcountry travelers and professionals.
